Operation Blue Sky
Operation Blue Sky is held annually on the Friday night of National Police Week. This event serves to honor the ultimate and selfless sacrifice of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty during the previous year. The purpose of this event is to light up the night sky with blue lights as a tribute to our fallen brothers and sisters. Typically Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the Mid Ohio Valley participate in Operation Blue Sky.
